FILM ACTIVITY 2
Now watch  'The Internship' movie clip and answer the questions:



1. What's going on in the scene ?
2. In pairs or alone ( if you're home) try to predict what happened before and what's going to happen later in the movie. ( To speculate you can use modals : can't, could, might, may, must  depending on the level of certainty you want to express). After this, watch the film to see what happens.
3.  The interviewer mentions a hypothetical situation about a being stuck in a blender. What do they answer?
4. How do they manage to answer the question?
5. At some point in the interview, one of the candidates mentions a proverb. Which proverb?
6. Think about their dress code.
7. What do you reckon WILL happen? Will they finally get the job? ( This is a spoiler, you'd better watch the film to get the answer to the question).
8. Concerning register and functional features of the interview,  would you consider it to be a formal one?

FILM ACTIVITY 1
1. Accountants, Senior Marketing Consultant, Chief Financial Officer, Programmers
2. Criticism of the actual worldwide employment situation, people are highly qualified and still it is difficult to find a suitable job. Also the fact that this time it's a Mexican the person who is in charge of recruiting workers and Americans are hoping to get a chance to be the next candidates for the job.
3.The story is about a man who comes to a company to hire highly qualified people. Candidates wait desperately to be the next ones to be selected.

FILM ACTIVITY 2

1. Two men are doing an interview on the Internet for Google company. A hilarious scene famous for the: What question??
2. They might have lost their jobs, ---to answer this questions I suggest you see the film.
3. They ask them a hypothetical and odd question: Imagine you're shrunking down to the size of nickles and dropped to the bottom of a blender,  what do you do? ( considering the blender once it's on it's on forever).It's not so much getting in the blender, it's what's happens next, you've got 2 nickle-sized men free in the world, think of the possibilities.  ( They're quite optimistic people)
4. They handle the situation pretty well and one of them suggest that even the best model in the world runs for 11 hours. He respecfully disagrees.
5. Proverb: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
6. They're wearing smart clothes and neutral colour (they're dressed in grey).
