A2 ( THE FUTURE 'WILL'): FOR PROMISES AND COMMITMENT

Listen to the song, pay attention to 'will'. Will is used to refer to future events. Think of these meanings associated to 'will':

a. Instant decision. Example: I'll call you later.
b. Prediction. Example: Bruno Mars will win the Grammy awards.
c. Promise. Example: I promise I'll be there.
b. Determination. Example: I will pass this exam.

Listen to Moana's and Sia's song and choose the correct meaning of 'will'.

B1-SONG: VERB PATTERNS: VERB+ TO, VERB+ -ING

Verbs and verb patterns:

To try everything= intentarlo todo.
Try everything= inténtalo todo.
To mess up= fastidiarla
without + -ing= sin hacer algo.
I'll start= I + will ( future).
I won't= I + will not. ( future negative). Example: I won't leave. No me marcharé.
To try+ object= intentar. Example: to try
to give up= phrasal verb= rendirse
to give in= parar de luchar, admitir una derrota.
Till I = Until I = hasta que...
to keep on +-ing= seguir haciendo algo. Example: to keep on 
to want + TO=(I wanna informal)= querer hacer algo.
