I think this history is very intesesting.
England celebrates this day to remember the failure of Guy Fawkes and the other members of Gunpowder Plot.
I´ve just read that in the east of England was obligatory celebrate this day until 1859. Something that I think it´s very curious.
The children used the money they asked shouting "Penny for the guy" to buy fireworks.
Today this celebration includes fireworks and bonfires. Also some tipical dishes are jacket potatoes, bonfire toffee and black peas with vinegar among others.
