17 March: Happy St Patrick's Day!!

Hi!
Today's post is dedicated to Ireland, the Irish and English speaking countries that celebrate St Patrick's Day.
To learn more about this tradition, I have the pleasure of counting on the experience of our language assistant teacher, Caitlin, so that she can explain to us how Americans celebrate St Patrick's Day. Caitlin will post her comment with this information next week and, by the end of it ( Friday), you'll be able to read it, and, likewise, leave your opinions, comments by replying to her.
I'm sure we'll learn interesting things and I hope you like this post.
Thanks for your collaboration and.......Happy St Patrick's Day!!

I went to Malaga to celebrate St Paddy's this Saturday. Although I got drunk and tried chat a few girls up without success obviously I'd a lot of fun.

All in all it was a crazy and unforgettable party, as this tradition requires.

St. Patrick's Day is very popular in America and especially in Boston. However, as it is not as popular here in Spain, I don't celebrate exactly as I would at home. But I do celebrate.

This year, my roommate and I spent the day at home watching Irish/Boston-themed movies (The Boondock Saints and The Departed), drinking Jameson and Irish Coffees, and eating Corned Beef and Cabbage with Potatoes. It was a low-key day, but a lot of fun nonetheless.
