1. they are working the preparations for the Monica and Chandler's wedding. The nap of Joey and Phoebes' plan are the secondary stories
2. They are planning their wedding with the Rachel's book
3. Too many cooks... spoil the soup. It means that too much people aren't necessary to deal a problem.
4. Becase the duck ate the face cream and it felt sick in the Chandler's bedroom.
5. Phoebe was thinking about the privacy needed by Monica and Chandler and "decided" to move in Ross' home. Besides, Ross were very upset with Phoebe because she massage people in his apartment.
6. The situation would get on my nerves was when Chandler was asked to choose the centerpieces: "Roses or lilies" and at the beginning he said "Definitely roses" but the women manipulated him (one more time...) and finally he says: "But lilies are the clear choice". That is a very tipical situation: You are asked for an opinion, but the answer is already chosed.
Hi Luis,
Well done! Thanks for doing the task and posting your comments. You'll be getting an email from me with the corrections soon.

1. The main plot of this chapter is about Chandler and Monica’s wedding. The sick duck, Joey and his nap, and Ross and Phoebe living together for a couple of days to give Monica and Chandler some privacy complete the whole plot(s).
2. Monica is planning about the wedding (based in a wedding book) with Chandler. He wants to participate and give his own opinions but it's hard.
3. “Too many cooks… spoil the broth” is a saying that Rachel tells Chandler when he wants to say something about the music. This saying means that too many people in charge of something can mess it all by having too many different ideas.
4. Because the duck ate Rachel’s face cream and it feels sick in Joey’s bedroom
5. She is thinking about giving Monica and Chandler some privacy, for this reason she wants to move in to Ross’ apartment for a couple of days.
6. In general, the way of living of these people get on my nerves. They are always thinking about doing something, they are always expressing opinions they think these are the correct ones and they don’t have privacy and calm moments.
1. This episode is about Chandler and Monica´s weeding plans. Besides, Phoebe is moving with Ross for a couple of days to give them some privacy, and Joey doesn´t want to take a nap at his place because of the duck.
2. They´re gettig married, so they have to choose the flowers, the music and so on.
3. Too many cooks spoil the soup. It means that when too many people are trying to do something they´re likely to make a mess of it.
4. Joey doesn´t want to take a nap on his coach because the duck puked on it after eating Rachel´s face cream.
5. She´s working giving massages at Ross´s apartment. She also did it at Monica and Chandler´s without telling them.
6. The situation that would get on my nerves is when Phoebe interrupts Ross´s class saying "I need to talk to you, it´s pretty urgent" just because she´s going to the movies and it´s starting in 5 minutes.
1 – On this episode, two of them, Chandler and Monica, are planing to get married. Then, whole friends feel that they are involved in it. Meanwhile, daily events happen in a natural way in their lives.
2 - Both of them are organizing the wedding plan.
3 – The complete idiom is “too many cooks spoil the broth”, which means that if there are too many people involved doing something it couldn´t be done well
3 - He cann´t sleep in his bedroom because there is a duck which ate the Rachel´s face cream so it feels sick.
4 – Phoebe finds that Chandler and Monica need some privacy before marrying, then she decided to ask Rash if she could satay a couple of days with him.
5 – Several situations could get on my nerves. For instance, I hate people having animals at home without taking care of them properly. I find it pretty unfair for them. Also, I cann´t stand people giving their opinions about your things all the time, even though, creeping round you for no apparent reason in order to get something but beating about the bush.
6 – In my opinion, in this kind of serial we can see a good example of everyday life events. It´s fun and we can practice English at the same time.

I was able to do the exercise because I have the DVD collection of this series.
1. Monica and Chandler were planning their wedding, Monica has already thought about all. Phoebe thinks that it would be nice if Monica and Chandler had privacy, so she asks Ross for moving with him for a couple days. Joey finds out that Rachel is reading an erotic-romance novel. Monica discovers that her parents have spent the money for her wedding on a beach house. When Chandler sees how displeased Monica is about the fact, he decides to offer to spend their savings to give her dream wedding. Phoebe looses a massage client because Ross gave a massage him; Ross intention was to have given his daughter it, though.
2. They are planning to get married. They are preparing everything that is necessary to reach this goal.
3. The complete idiom is: Too many cooks (spoil the broth). The meaning is that many people working on the same job can ruin the job because nobody knew what anyone else was doing.
4. Because the duck vomited Rachel's face cream on the sofa and on several places more.
5. She wants to give her clients a massage at Ross’ house. She wants to run her business at Ross’
6. To me the worst situation is when Phoebe try to set up her business at Ross’ because it’s hard when you realize about someone was up to something at your back which you don’t want. In Spanish it’s said: god forbid from docile bull, so I will get out of brave bull.
